Requirements before you begin

A short check so the rest goes smoothly. Two minutes now saves an hour of wondering why the schema list is empty later.

You need

• A Google account and a Google Sheet you can edit. The add-on writes into a spreadsheet, so you need edit access to one. Any sheet will do, including a blank one.
• An Atlassian account with access to Assets. Assets is part of Jira Service Management Cloud. The add-on reads Assets as you, so the schemas you want to report on must be visible to your own Atlassian account.
• A schema with some objects in it. The add-on can only import what exists. If your Assets is empty, the wizard will work but the report will not have much to say.

You do not need

• Jira administrator rights. Any account that can browse the schema can report on it.
• A query language. The simple filter covers most reports. AQL is there as an option, never a requirement.
• Anything installed on the Jira side. The add-on lives entirely in Google Sheets. There is no Marketplace app to add to Jira and nothing for a Jira admin to configure.

A quick way to check your access

Open Assets in Jira Service Management and confirm you can see the schema you have in mind. If you can browse it there, the add-on can read it as you. If you cannot, ask whoever owns the schema for access first, because the add-on will show you exactly what Jira shows you and nothing more.
