Choose a service model
LaunchPad ships thirteen service models, organised into five categories: Foundation, Operational, Specialised, Enterprise, and Governance. Each one deploys into Assets with its own object types, attributes, and relationships, and most are spokes that extend the Core Schema hub rather than standalone islands (see Hub-and-spoke architecture). The categories are labels for what a service model does, not pricing levels; pricing is per object across the whole product. Picking the right starting model still matters, because it shapes how your service data fits together from day one. None of this is frozen once installed: every service model extends after deployment, so the first choice is a starting point, not a commitment for life.
